- - 8 glasses of fresh cherry
- - ¾ cup sugar

Remove the seeds from the cherry and, mixing the berries with sugar and starch, put on fire, bring to a boil and, stirring, simmer for 2 minutes. Chill.

While the filling is cooling, sift the flour and semolina with a slide on a kitchen board, make a small crater on the top of the slide, and in it put salt with yolk and 1-2 tablespoons of margarine, pour cream and water. Knead the dough from this story, then form a flattened lump out of it, grease with liquid margarine and put in a warm place for half an hour.

Roll out the finished dough into a thin layer, sprinkle two-thirds of the bread crumbs fried in margarine, put the cherries on top, tuck the dough on all sides and roll the layer into a tube, starting with the end filled with the filling.

Lubricate the strudel with the remaining margarine, sprinkle the top with powdered sugar and put on a greased baking sheet. Bake in the oven, heated to 200 ° C, 20-25 minutes - until it turns golden.
