You will need
- - semolina (1 glass);
- - kefir (1 glass);
- - sugar (1 cup);
- - eggs (2 pcs.);
- - lemon (1 pc.);
- - flour (2 tbsp. l.);
- - salt (pinch);
- - vanillin or vanilla sugar (to taste);
- - baking powder (1 tablespoon) or soda (pinch);

Instruction manual
1
Mix semolina (1 cup) with kefir (1 cup) and leave for 30 minutes to swell.
2
In a separate bowl, rub the eggs (2 pieces) with sugar (1 cup), salt (a pinch), vanilla sugar or vanilla (to taste).
3
Rub the lemon on a coarse grater with zest.
4
Mix all the ingredients. Add flour (2 tablespoons) and baking powder (1 tablespoon) or soda (1/3 teaspoon).
5
We prepare a cake mold: we lubricate the tin with vegetable oil, silicone can either not be lubricated, or use melted butter or margarine. Pour the dough into the cake pan.
6
We put the cake in a preheated oven (no more than 200 degrees). Cooking time: 15-25 minutes.
7
Put the finished cake on a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
note
The top of the manna is always paler than the bottom, so start checking the readiness of the cake in 15-20 minutes.
Useful advice
If you are a sweet tooth, then add vanilla sugar instead of vanillin - the cake will be sweeter. We check the readiness of the cake with a match: pierce - if the match is dry, then the cake is ready.
