Pancakes in milk

This method of cooking thin pancakes is considered the most common.

You will need:

- milk - 0.5 liters;

- boiled water - 1 cup;

- premium wheat flour;

- sugar - 1 tbsp. a spoon;

- soda - ½ teaspoon;

- chicken egg - 1 pc.;

- salt - to taste;

- vegetable oil.

Pour the milk into a deep bowl or cup. Pancake milk is best taken with medium fat content. Dilute it with warm boiled water in a ratio of 2: 1. If there is not enough milk, pancakes will be difficult to remove from the surface of the pan and will not turn out thin.

Add sugar, soda, a pinch of salt to the resulting mass. The amount of sugar must be calculated based on what pancakes will be served with. If they are stuffed with meat, one tablespoon of sugar will be enough. For sweet crepes, you can add more sugar. Stir the mixture.

Add the egg to the resulting milk mass and start adding flour. Stir the dough as flour is added. If lumps form, break them. Add the flour until the dough becomes as solid as liquid sour cream. Stir the dough well until smooth. Pour in a few tablespoons of vegetable oil.

The dough is ready. You can start baking pancakes. To prevent pancakes from sticking to the surface of the pan, you need to heat it well. Before starting the oven, the pan must be oiled.
