You will need

  • - 1 3/4 cup mint leaves

  • - 600 g minced lamb

  • - 2 minced cloves of garlic

  • - 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • - filo dough

  • - 100 g of melted butter

  • - 2 tablespoons of almond flakes

  • - 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds

  • - 250 g of cherry tomatoes

  • - 2 cucumbers

  • - 1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • - 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and a few slices of lemon for decoration

Instruction manual

1

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Coarsely chop 3/4 cup mint, then mix it with minced meat, garlic and caraway seeds. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

2

Grease each sheet of filo dough with lightly melted butter. Spread the mince on the long side of the dough, 1 cm wide. Roll it into a roll, and then give it a spiral shape. Lubricate with butter on top. Repeat the same with the rest of the minced meat and dough sheets. Sprinkle spirals with almond flakes and sesame seeds, bake for 30 minutes until crisp.

3

Cut the cherry tomatoes into halves and the cucumbers thinly diagonally, mix with the remaining mint leaves. Add olive oil and lemon juice, season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve warm spirals with lettuce garnished with lemon slices.
