A very simple option is homemade lemons with vanilla tones. It can be used to make desserts or just eat with tea. According to this recipe, you can make jam from oranges, limes or other citrus fruits.

You will need:

- 8 lemons;

- 1.2 kg of sugar;

- 1 liter of water;

- 2 teaspoons of vanilla sugar.

Instead of vanilla sugar, a pinch of vanillin can be used to flavor jam.

Wash the lemons thoroughly with hot water and a brush. Cut them into thin circles, remove the seeds. Put the fruits in a saucepan, fill with water and cook for about half an hour over medium heat. Then reduce the heat, put sugar and vanilla sugar in a pan, mix and cook for another 1.5 hours. Take out the lemon peel with a slotted spoon.

Pour the hot jam into the pre-sterilized jars, close the lids and leave to cool.

If you plan to eat a treat in the coming days, simply transfer it to a clean container, cool and put it in the refrigerator.

Lemon Ginger Jam

A very tasty option is lemons jam with ginger root. Serve it with homemade pancakes or pancakes - the taste of lemon and ginger goes well with fresh hot pastries.

You will need:

- 400 g of lemons;

- 400 g of sugar;

- a small piece (about 5 cm) of ginger root.

Wash lemons thoroughly. Squeeze the juice from one fruit, blanch the rest in boiling water for 5 minutes, and then pass through a meat grinder along with ginger root. Put lemon puree in a saucepan, add juice and sugar, mix everything. Boil the mixture for about half an hour over low heat. If the jam begins to thicken, it is ready. Arrange the product in sterilized jars, cover with lids and refrigerate.
