Each country celebrates Easter in its own way. Since ancient times, everyone has their own special culinary customs and traditions. In Scotland, a cupcake in the shape of a lamb, a symbol of the emergence of a new life, is considered traditional. Not a single Scottish Easter table can do without this cake. It is baked simply and easily, therefore, special work to prepare it is not necessary.

You will need

  • - 100 g butter

  • - 150 g of granulated sugar

  • - 4 eggs

  • - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of flour

  • - a can of boiled condensed milk

  • - baking dish in the form of a lamb

Instruction manual

1

Squirrels are separated from the yolks. Stir the yolks with softened butter and sugar. Beat whites with a pinch of salt in a strong foam.

2

Half the protein foam is mixed with the yolk mass. Add flour and a little soda. Mix everything well and add the remaining protein foam. Again, gently mix with movements from top to bottom. The dough should have a consistency of thick sour cream.

3

We grease the form with oil and carefully pour the dough into it. Place the form with the dough in a cold oven, and only then turn it on 200 degrees. We bake a cupcake for about forty minutes. Cooling slightly, remove the cupcake from the mold and allow to cool to the end.

4

Then we cut the baked and cooled pie into two halves, grease them with boiled condensed milk and glue them. Sprinkle icing sugar on top.

Useful advice

Condensed milk can be replaced with your favorite thick confiture.
