This dish is very popular and is liked by absolutely everyone. You can change the taste of potatoes by adding different aromatic sauces and herbs. Potatoes baked with quarters are able to take their rightful place on the festive or dining table.

- - vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.;

The potato should be preferably the same size. Peel it. Pour cold water into a large pot and put peeled potatoes there. Water will not let the potato darken and wind. Remove the tubers from the water, cut them lengthwise into 4 parts and put them in a plastic bag. Pour in vegetable oil, pour in dry herbs and salt.

You can add garlic squeezed through the press if you wish. Inflate the bag and tighten its neck.

Shake the bag so that the salt, spices and oil are evenly distributed over the potatoes. Cover the pan with parchment or foil. You can not cover it, of course, but then you have to wash it. Place potato quarters on a baking sheet.

Set the oven temperature to 220oC and place the baking sheet inside. Bake the potatoes until they are soft, with a bright crust. Serve hot or warm with cold milk, kefir, fermented baked milk or jelly. You can also serve with a simple tomato salad.
