An interesting paradox - despite the numerous critical attacks of supporters of a healthy lifestyle, the world-famous McDonald's chain of fast-food restaurants is gaining popularity from year to year and attracts more and more new customers. Currently, you can find a McDonald's restaurant in any relatively large city in Russia (more than 300 restaurants in total). In Europe and the USA they are located in almost every locality. What makes McDonald's so popular? What is behind this legend?

Of course, there are a huge number of criteria for a consistently high demand for McDonald's products. And each of them is extremely important, as it makes its own special contribution to the overall stunning success. To get acquainted in detail with how the structure of the restaurants' work is built, how the cooking processes are organized, anyone can during the All-Russian action McDonald's Open Doors 14 April 15 this year. In this article, we highlight only the main points.

The first reason McDonald's is ubiquitous is accessibility. Accessibility both in terms of the location of restaurants and in terms of pricing. Eating at McDonald's is always cheaper than at any other similar establishment. And the quality of the products used and the taste characteristics of the finished dishes are much better.

The second, but not least, component of McDonald's success is the fantastic speed of cooking and serving! Any dish is done almost instantly. This is especially important for people who are trying to save their time as much as possible. Such a high speed is achieved through the use of the conveyor system at all stages of McDonald's work. Decades ago, it was the Dick and Mac McDonald brothers who were the first in the world to decide to use the conveyor belt in their restaurants. Prior to this, the conveyor system invented by Henry Ford was used exclusively in the manufacture of automobiles.

Since the inception of the McDonald's restaurant chain, its founding father Ray Krok has paid great attention to the unconditional observance by all employees of the most stringent sanitary and hygienic standards. I must say that over time, the requirements for cleanliness only increased. And today, the sanitary requirements at McDonald's are the most stringent in comparison with other places of public catering. For example, according to internal regulations, personnel are required to wash their hands several times per hour: when stepping on a shift, when switching to preparing another type of product (even when changing a variety of sandwich), and even more so after touching foreign objects. All food products can be touched exclusively with disposable gloves. If this rule is violated, the “touched” product is thrown away. Even around McDonald's restaurants, perfect cleanliness is always maintained. Thus, visitors are shown how much the company cares about cleanliness and people naturally have a sense of security and confidence regarding the food prepared in such a place. After all, from childhood we took into account that cleanliness is the key to health.

The fact that all cooked dishes have their own strictly defined period for which they must fall into the hands of visitors can also be attributed to the health of visitors. For example, hamburgers can wait no more than 10 minutes for their customers, fries - no longer than 5. For precise control of the "life" time of a product throughout the kitchen, numerous timers hang. As soon as the shelf life of the finished product expires, it is thrown out. It is clear that in such a short period of time, not a single hamburger or potato will have time to deteriorate. However, McDonald's goal is to feed people “tasty, fast, and hot, ” and so reheating is never allowed. Absolutely everything that was not sold on time is sent to the trash.

The next aspect of the popularity of McDonald's is the design of the halls. Restaurant interiors are always not only functional and practical, but also pleasing to the eye. They usually have a lot of photographs, toys and other cute items that make the room cozy. Especially unique is the McDonald's kids room. There, specially trained restaurant employees (hostesses) are engaged in the kids, who play various games with the children, draw, dance and sing while their parents enjoy meals and socializing with each other. Naturally, for young parents, such care for the whole family is a weighty criterion when choosing a place to eat.

Daily application of even a small fraction of the universal rules, which allowed McDonald's to become a world leader in the field of express cooking, can help any person or organization to increase their productivity, become much more efficient and save time for relaxation.

So, you just have to open the diary and make a note: on April 14-15 we go to McDonald's on Open Day. You can sign up for excursions by phone by phone: 8-800-100-90-96.
