You will need:
2 slices of dark bread;
100 ml of milk;
1 onion;
1 clove of garlic;
400 g minced meat;
1 egg
4 tablespoons of tomato paste;
salt;
ground black pepper;
5 tomatoes;
1 red bell pepper.
Cooking:
1) Cut bread into cubes and soak in milk.
2) Cut the garlic and onion into cubes and fry.
3) Squeeze the bread and knead with minced meat, onion, garlic and egg. Add salt and pepper.
Blind meatballs and bake for 15-20 minutes on a fat baking sheet in the oven.
4) Boil the tomatoes with boiling water. Peel, remove seeds and cut into cubes.
5) With red pepper, do the same procedure as with tomatoes.
6) Mix chopped peppers and tomatoes with tomato paste, salt and pepper.
Serve red sauce with meatballs. You can decorate with greens. Bon Appetit!
