What could be better than a hot aromatic donut and a cup of aromatic coffee for breakfast? Perhaps only two donuts! Moreover, making delicious donuts, as in the famous American chain of pastry shops, is not difficult at all!

You will need
- flour - 300 g
- milk - 200 ml
- dry yeast - 1 teaspoon
- butter - 30 g
- egg yolk - 3 pcs.
- sugar - 2 tablespoons
- cognac - 1 tablespoon
- salt
- vanilla (or vanilla sugar)
- vegetable oil
- chocolate, almond petals, coconut flakes for decoration

Dilute the yeast in warm milk, leave for 10-15 minutes. Melt the oil and cool to room temperature. Sift flour into a large bowl.

Mix yeast with yolks, butter, sugar, vanilla, cognac and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth.

Mix the resulting liquid mass with flour. Knead the soft dough. Lightly grease the bowl with vegetable oil, place the dough in it and send for an hour to a warm place.

After an hour, knead the dough and roll out a layer 1-1.5 cm thick. With a cup, cut circles, cut holes with glasses. Cut donuts to rest for 20 minutes under a towel.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan (layer about three centimeters so that the donuts float freely). Fry the donuts until golden brown on both sides in small batches. Put the finished donuts on paper napkins to absorb excess oil.

Cool ready-made donuts, pour over chocolate and decorate if desired. Bon Appetit!

To donuts are not hard and callous, do not keep them in the pan for too long.
Useful advice
If you wish, you can add cocoa to the dough, then your donuts will turn out chocolate.
