Baked peaches with thyme, honey and ice cream will be a great dessert. The dish is very tasty and healthy. And thyme will give the dessert a special spicy note. The indicated amount of food is enough for 5 servings.

You will need

  • - fresh peaches - 10 pcs.;

  • - honey (liquid) - 4 tbsp. l.;

  • - butter - 10 tsp;

  • - thyme - 20 branches;

  • - creamy ice cream - 200 g.

Fruit preparation. Rinse the peaches well with water. Cut lengthwise into two parts, carefully remove the seeds. Put the peaches in a baking dish (in one layer).

Melt the butter in a water bath or microwave. Oil halves of peaches. Gently mix, then spread the halves of the peaches in the shape of the slice up.

Fill the pit with soft ice cream (about 2/3 of the pit). Pour peaches on top with liquid honey. Put a sprig of thyme on each half of the peach. Bake dessert in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, 15-20 minutes. Before serving, cool the dish a little and pour over the sauce formed during baking.

Put several halves of peaches on a serving plate, add a ball of ice cream to the dish and decorate with mint leaves. The dish is ready.

note

It is advisable to take ripe peaches, it is difficult to remove the stone from unripe fruits. If the honey is thick, it must first be melted in a water bath.

Peaches need to be taken only fresh, canned fruits do not fit.
