  • - 200 g lentils

  • - ½ onions

  • - 50 g green onions

  • - 50 g parsley

  • - 1 tomato

  • - 1 clove of garlic

Rinse the lentils in cold water. This is best done with a colander. Remove the peel from the tomato and cut it into cubes. To peel the peel easily, place the tomato for 2 minutes in boiling water, and then in cold. Finely chop the parsley, chives, garlic and onions.

Heat a frying pan over a fire, pour in a little vegetable oil and fry the onions. Once it starts to brown, add the tomato. Simmer for no more than 2 minutes, then add herbs, garlic, salt and spices. Stir all the ingredients and remove the pan from the heat.

Wash, brush the carapace thoroughly, and boil the mussels in salted water. It is necessary to cook them until the shell opens. Remove the mussels from the pan and peel. If you have mussels without a shell, cook them for 3 minutes from the moment the water boils.

Place the lentils in a pan, pour 1 cup of salted water. Make sure that boiling occurs over low heat. Cooking time after boiling water - 8 minutes. The pan should be covered.

Transfer previously cooked tomatoes with onions and herbs to the pan with lentils. Shuffle. Once it begins to boil, add peeled mussels. Cook another 3 minutes.

If you purchased frozen mussels, thaw them by placing them in a container of cold water.
