To make a hearty dinner, it is enough to use two main products - potatoes and meat. But to make the dish special, you will need additional ingredients. The best option to combine all the products is to bake them in the oven. The casserole will turn out tasty, juicy and fragrant.

You will need

  • - beef 600 g

  • - potato 300 g

  • - mushrooms 200 g

  • - onion 1 pc.

  • - sweet pepper 1 pc.

  • - meat broth 400 ml

  • - cream 30 ml

  • - olive and butter

  • - tomato paste

  • - basil leaves

  • - dill

  • - salt and pepper to taste

Wash beef, dry with a napkin and pass through a meat grinder.

Cut the onion and sweet pepper into thin half rings, transfer to a preheated pan and sauté in olive oil. A few minutes before the end of frying, put the minced meat prepared earlier. Simmer for about 20 minutes with the addition of broth, finely chopped mushrooms, tomato paste, spices and chopped basil leaves.

Peel and boil the potatoes, then mash in mashed potatoes, mix with butter and cream until a homogeneous mass is formed.

Grease a mold with butter and put a mixture of mushrooms and minced meat, then put mashed potatoes. Place in a preheated oven and bake at 200 degrees for 40-50 minutes.

Garnish the finished casserole with chopped dill, cut into portions and serve hot.
