Even a simple apple-nut cake will surprise your guests, especially if you cook it in portioned jars. It looks very appetizing, but it tastes just amazing!

You will need

  • - 3-4 apples,

  • - 1 tsp vanilla

  • - ½ cup walnuts,

  • - a pinch of cinnamon,

  • - 150 g butter,

  • - 1 cup flour

  • - a pinch of nutmeg,

  • - 2 glasses of sugar,

  • - ¾ cup sour cream,

  • - 1 tsp baking soda

  • - salt to taste,

  • - 1 egg.

First you need to peel the apples and grate them on a coarse grater. With a mixer, beat the softened butter with sugar. The result is a homogeneous mixture.

In a separate cup, beat the egg and add it to the oil mixture. Continue whipping it until creamy. Then add flour, salt, soda, nutmeg and cinnamon. Everything needs to be beaten so that the dry ingredients are slightly moistened.

Now you need to add the apples. Mix everything carefully and add crushed nuts.

Jars must be greased with oil and filled with dough halfway. At first, the dough will be very sticky, but apple juice will gradually dilute it.

Jars should be placed on a baking sheet, covered with parchment and baked at 190 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

While preparing the dessert, you need to make the sauce: in a medium saucepan over moderate heat, combine the butter, sour cream and sugar. Whip until sugar dissolves. After that, the sauce will be removed from the stove. There you need to add vanilla and mix.

With this sauce, pour the dessert in jars.
