You will need

  • 3 pots:

  • - pork meat - 0.5 kg

  • - buckwheat - 9 tbsp. spoons

  • - onions - 2 pcs. medium sized

  • - bay leaf - 1 pc.

  • - salt, pepper - to taste

  • - butter - 1 teaspoon without top for each pot

  • - vegetable oil - 1.5 tbsp. spoons

Cut the meat into small pieces. Pepper, salt and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. Arrange evenly in pots.

Finely chop the onion, fry in the same pan where the meat was fried, until golden brown. After that, spread the onions evenly over the pots.

Fry buckwheat in a dry frying pan to a characteristic smell - 3-4 minutes. When frying it is necessary to stir it so as not to burn. Distribute the pots equally - 3 tbsp. spoons.

Add salt and pepper to each pot to taste, evenly distribute bay leaf. Pour the entire contents with broth or water. When pouring water or broth, it is required to maintain proportions in volumes: for 1 part of buckwheat groats - 2 parts of water. So the porridge will be crumbly.

Put a portion of butter in each pot. Close the pots with lids. Put for 1 hour in a preheated oven at a temperature of 120 degrees. An hour later, the dish is ready.

Useful advice

The proportions when cooking buckwheat should be observed as follows in volume: 1 part buckwheat - 2 parts water. It is not recommended to stir porridge during cooking. Then buckwheat will be friable.
