Plum is one of the few fruits that helps eliminate cholesterol and improves digestion. But in cold weather, you can hardly get a plum, so you can stock up on delicious and fragrant jam.

You will need
1 kilogram of plums, 10 walnuts, 1 kilogram of sugar, half a liter of water.

Rinse the plums under cold water and let the water drain. Slightly cut the plums and remove the stone.

Shell and peel the walnuts. Put a piece of walnut in each plum.

Boil water, add sugar and stir until completely dissolved. Boil for 2 minutes.

Put the plums in a pan and pour sugar syrup on it. Put on a slow fire and bring to a boil.

Turn off the heat and let the jam cool (5-6 hours). Set again on low heat and boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Leave the jam until the next day.

Sterilize jars and metal lids. Bring the jam to a boil and pour over the jars hot. Roll up the lids.

Turn the cans over, place in a dark place and cover with a bath towel. After 2-3 days, lower the jam into the cellar, basement or any other cool place.
