  • - 50 g of grated parmesan,

  • - 3 slices of white toast bread without a crust,

  • - 2 bell peppers,

  • - 1 onion,

  • - 3 tomatoes

  • - salt and ground black pepper to taste.

Put the bread in a blender and grind it into crumbs. Then put it in a bowl, add minced meat, egg, spinach, cheese, mustard, salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything.

Form the meatballs into small meatballs. It should turn out about 20-25 pieces. Place them on a baking sheet covered with foil and oiled with sunflower oil. Send the meatballs in an oven preheated to 185 degrees and bake for 30-40 minutes, until cooked.

While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce. Chop the onion finely. Heat sunflower oil in a pan. Put onion there and fry, stirring constantly, until soft, about 5-7 minutes.

Meanwhile, place peeled bell peppers and tomatoes in a blender. Everything needs to be ground not very finely.

Pour the resulting mass into a pan for onions, salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer under the lid for 10-20 minutes until the peppers are soft.

Serve meatballs with sauce and mashed potatoes.
