Preheat the oven. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet, bake for about 40 minutes. When serving, cut the tubers crosswise with foil, place slices of butter inside. Add grated cheese or your favorite sauce if desired.

Try another way to bake potatoes. Cut clean tubers lengthwise into 2-4 parts, grease the slices with vegetable oil, sprinkle with coarse sea salt and caraway seeds. Instead of caraway seeds, you can take any other spicy seeds - dill, fennel, cumin. Cream-fried sesame seeds will sound good. You can also opt for flax seeds. Place the potatoes firmly in a deep baking sheet and cook for about half an hour.

Bake potatoes like they do in France. For this dish, peeled tubers must be cut into thin slices (it is better to take a special grater or chop in a combine), dry thoroughly, put in a lap pan in a deep pan, grease each layer with a small amount of vegetable oil and sprinkle with salt. Then prepare the sauce: 250 ml. warm milk, take 3 egg yolks and 1 tbsp. with a hill of wheat flour. Mix thoroughly so that there are no lumps. Salt and pepper a little. It will be nice to add fresh chopped dill to the sauce. Pour the potatoes with sauce and bake for 40-45 minutes.

Cook the baked potato in Swiss style (the dish is called р сти "))). To do this, chop the potatoes with a long thin straw, salt, sprinkle a little wheat flour (about 1 tsp flour per 1 kg of potato), put in a frying pan greased with vegetable oil, and carefully compact. Lubricate the surface with vegetable oil. Potatoes baked in this way should be removed from the pan "pancake" and radially cut on a serving plate.

When you decide to bake potatoes, do not try to take large tubers. Otherwise, you have to wait a long time when they are baked. But the main reason is that inside they may remain a little damp.

Useful advice

You can bake potatoes both in the ash of a campfire and in the burnt corners of the barbecue. But if the action takes place in a city apartment, an ordinary oven will fit perfectly.
