When cooked in small envelopes made of foil, pink salmon is obtained practically in its own juice. In addition, the fish must first be greased with lemon juice and vegetable oil, which will add even more juice to it.
Cooking pink salmon in the oven foil
You will need:
- fresh-frozen pink salmon - 1 pc. (1.5 kg);
- lemon - 1 pc.;
- fresh or dried rosemary - 2 g;
- vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. l.;
- black pepper, salt - to taste;
- Fresh dill - optional.
You can bake pink salmon in foil, either whole or in separate pieces, but when sliced into medallions, the fish absorbs more marinade and becomes much tastier and juicier.
Thaw the fish in cold water for 1 hour, then clean it of scales, cut the fins and tail, rinse under cold water, cut into several transverse bars 3-3.5 centimeters wide. As a result, you will get about 6-7 medallions. Transfer the fish to a bowl, sprinkle with salt and pepper, then add the rosemary. Pour squeezed lemon juice into this bowl, you can also use balsamic vinegar, mix the fish with marinade and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, cut the foil into rectangular pieces so that a medallion with fish can be wrapped in each. Then wrap the pink salmon in envelopes made from foil. Grease a baking sheet with oil and place fish on it, place the pink salmon in the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes at a temperature of 170 degrees.
