Cooking is not just a cooking process, it is also an art. And even at home, I want to treat relatives not only with a delicious, but also with a beautiful dish, especially if its presentation is tied to a particular celebration. It is not difficult to do this, because even just decorating the cake with whipped cream, you will give it a festive look.

You will need

  • - cream for whipping;

  • - pastry bag;

  • - spray with whipped cream;

  • - fixer for cream.

Instruction manual

1

Buy special whipping cream at the store. They should be high enough fat content, from 33% and above. Some also use products with a fat content of about 22%, but the result is far from always sufficient: the cream falls off or does not whip at all.

2

Whip the cream thoroughly. Remember that they require accuracy and attention: they need to be whipped up for a strictly defined time: if the process takes less, they will not reach the desired consistency, and they will float on the finished cake, if longer, they will begin to exfoliate and form flakes. Often, the approximate time required to achieve the optimal structure is written on the package, however, it is approximate and serves only as a guide.

3

Use a cream fixer if you are not sure that they will keep their shape well and will not fall off. Calculate its quantity based on the instructions on the package.

4

Garnish the cake with a cream hat, carefully laying them out with a spatula. Draw intricate patterns with a fork or toothpick that your imagination will tell you. Take a pastry bag if you want not only to create a flat surface, but to create a composition from various flowers and figures using cream.

5

Make a bag yourself if this culinary accessory has not yet appeared in your kitchen. Just find a plastic bag and make a small hole in the corner. Fill it to half and take it with one hand. Gently squeeze out the second cream.

6

Buy a ready-made can of whipped cream if you don’t want to cook them yourself. However, remember that you need to decorate the cake with them immediately before serving, and do not forget to shake the can properly. If you use purchased whipping cream, apply it to the cake in advance, as it takes time to harden.
