Perga is a flower pollen collected by bees, placed in honeycombs, filled with honey and sealed with wax. Perga is widely used for medicinal purposes, because it is a unique supplement to the human diet, which contains a lot of amino acids, proteins, fats, vitamins and other micro and macro elements. Pearls obtained from forest or meadow forbs are especially valuable. Beekeepers use various methods of collection and storage.

Instruction manual

1

The first method is the easiest and fastest. You just need to remove the frame with the bee bread from the hive, place it in the refrigerator and use the bee bread with wax as needed. It should be noted that in this form the bee bread is not stored for long.

2

The second way - remove the frame from the hive. Then with a heated knife, cut the honeycombs from all sides to the base of the frame. For these purposes, beekeepers use a special beekeeping knife. Next, you need to thoroughly knead the honeycombs with your hands and place them in a pan with cold water. After some time, the wax will float up, and the pellets of the beef will settle to the bottom of the pan. Then it is necessary to drain the water, and sprinkle the grains of beef with a thin layer and dry for one to two days.

3

The third way. Cut the honeycomb honeycombs should be cut into small pieces two to three centimeters in size and grind several times through a meat grinder. Stuffing, which will be the result, must be mixed with honey. The proportions of the ingredients in the mixture may be different. Usually it contains twenty to fifty percent of the pollen. Then let the mixture stand for several days. During this time, particles of wax will pop up, which should be removed. The resulting product will include bee bread, honey, propolis and some wax. In a tightly closed jar, the mixture can be stored for about two and a half years.

4

On large beekeeping farms, the following methods of collecting bee bread can be used. Pergh honeycombs are dried or frozen. They can also be scarified, that is, scratched in such a way as to open cells with a feather. They are also crushed, and then the wax is separated by a twist. The obtained granules of bee bread somewhat resemble polyhedrons, that is, they seem to repeat the shape of their cells. Slightly dried bee bread is packed and sold or sent for further processing.

note

Perga is selected from hives only until mid-summer. In the opposite case, you can damage the bee family, because bee bread is a valuable food necessary for the reproduction of bees.

Useful advice

Perga obtained in the third way, for a very long time, retains its healing properties.

In the case of freezing or drying the bee bread, part of its useful properties is lost.
