You can buy vinegar 3, 6 and 9% solutions of acetic acid or 70% essence. For culinary purposes, it is recommended to use a 3% solution, that is, if the initial concentration of the essence is 30%, then 10 parts of cold boiled water should be added to 1 part of vinegar. If an essence of 70% concentration is used, 22.5 parts are needed.

If a 4% solution is indicated in the recipe, the following proportions should be used: 1: 7 (30% essence) and 1:17 (70% essence).
Accordingly, for the preparation of a 5% solution, the proportions will be 1: 6 (30% essence) and 1:13 (70% essence)
6% solution - 1: 5 (30% essence) and 1:11 (70% essence)
7% - 1: 4 (30%) and 1: 9 (70%)
8% - 1: 3.5 (30%) and 1: 8 (70%)
9% - 1: 3 (30%) and 1: 7 (70%)
Useful advice
After dilution, industrial vinegar is recommended to be insisted for one to two weeks with the possible addition of various spices and seasonings. The maximum exposure time is not limited - over time, vinegar only gets better.
