Instruction manual

1

Melt the honey in a water bath. Crystallization of glucose and sucrose leads to the fact that initially the liquid honey becomes solid, with distinct crystals. It is possible to restore its former structure by increasing the temperature. You will need a glass jar and two pots (one smaller than the other). Transfer the candied honey into a jar, pour water into a larger pan and put on a strong fire.

2

Wait for the water to boil, reduce the heat to medium. Place a smaller pan in a large pan so that it is fixed on the handles. The water level should not reach the bottom of a small saucepan. This method is good in that the honey will heat up gradually and in a gentle mode, without overheating.

3

Place a jar of crystallized honey in a small saucepan. Next you need to wait from fifteen to thirty minutes (depending on the amount of honey). It will gradually begin to dissolve and acquire its original liquid structure. It is important to keep the pot on low heat, as excessive heating can cause the destruction of some enzymes, after which honey will not be so useful. Store melted honey in a closed jar in a warm, cool place. This will save its properties and structure.

4

Put honey in a warm room. Please note that with this method, melting honey can take a longer time. A bath or sauna is perfect. Leave in it a container with honey for twenty - twenty five minutes. After that, put it in a cool place. If you don’t need to give the honey a liquid state urgently, then you can leave it near the stove or battery - you will get the result within a few days, and possibly a week.

note

You can put honey not in a jar, but immediately in a small pan, but after melting it will be necessary to transfer it to a closed glass or plastic container.

Useful advice

Keep an eye on the water level in the pan when using the water bath - it evaporates quite quickly, and you will need to top it up.
