To prepare a cabbage casserole, you will need the following ingredients:

- white cabbage - 500 g;

- sour cream - 100 ml;

- chicken eggs - 2 pcs.;

- salt - to taste;

- semolina - 100 g;

- sunflower oil - 1 tsp;

- spicy herbs - 1 tsp.

The preparation of this dish must begin with the processing of cabbage. Remove coarse or spoiled top leaves from the vegetable, and then cut the cabbage into medium slices. Put a pot of water on the fire, bring it to a boil, add salt and put chopped cabbage. After the contents of the pan boil, reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes. Then discard the boiled cabbage on a sieve to water glass.

Transfer the cabbage into a deep bowl, add salt, spices and any herbs to taste to it, as well as semolina. Keep in mind that the taste of cabbage itself is quite fresh, so you can use a mixture of herbs, such as dill, basil, parsley, green onions and marjoram.

Mix the contents of the bowl well: you need the semolina seeds to be distributed over the cabbage. Now, in this mass, you can break the chicken eggs and add sour cream. According to this recipe, sour cream can be replaced with any dairy product, for example, yogurt or kefir.

Next, mix and leave the contents of the bowl for about 20-30 minutes. This time is necessary for semolina to swell.

Grease the baking dish with oil, and then transfer your future casserole into it, smooth it and sprinkle with hard cheese grated on a fine grater, and add chopped greens. Place the baked pan in the oven at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

After the cabbage casserole is ready, it needs to be slightly cooled, and then cut into portioned portions and serve. The cabbage casserole has an excellent taste both in warm and in cold form.
