White cabbage is very useful for our body. In addition to valuable protein, it contains many vitamins and fiber, which improves intestinal motor function and helps to remove cholesterol from the body.

To cook stewed cabbage we need:
- 1 kg of white cabbage,
- 500 gr. pork with bone
- black pepper peas,
- 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sugar
- 400 gr. red tomatoes or 100 gr. sauce
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons of wheat flour
- 50 gr melted fat
- dill and parsley,
- salt,
- Bay leaf.
Cooking method
We take the forks of cabbage, wash, clean from the damaged and rotten leaves and crumb. Then we take the meat, rinse thoroughly, put in a saucepan, pour two cups of water and bring to a boil. Now add chopped cabbage to the meat and cook for another 20 minutes, without closing the lid. Then add seasonings and spices, close the lid and steam for another 30 minutes.
We take the tomatoes, wash them, scald with boiling water, carefully remove the skin, cut into slices and simmer separately in our own juice. When the cabbage is half ready, wipe the tomatoes and combine them with meat and cabbage. We make a seasoned dressing from fat and flour, pour it into the cabbage with meat and, stirring, boil a little. The taste of cabbage will improve when it stands before serving for half an hour.
We lay out the ready cabbage on plates, decorate with greens and serve.
