  • - yolks - 2 pcs.;

  • - salt - a pinch.

  • - juice of one lemon;

  • - eggs - 2 pcs.;

  • - cinnamon - 1 teaspoon.

  • Prunes in cognac:

  • - pitted prunes - 30 pcs.;

  • - cognac - 1/2 cup;

  • - sugar - 1/2 cup;

  • - water - 1 glass;

  • - vanillin - 5 g.

Instruction manual

1

Mix the softened butter thoroughly by combining it with icing sugar. Then, there, enter one egg yolk, after each whipping the mixture with a mixer. Sprinkle flour. Mix the mixture. Thus, you will get shortbread dough. Put it in a plastic bag and send it to a cold place for about half an hour.

2

Put prunes in a pan with vanilla and granulated sugar. Pour this mixture with cognac and water. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for 15 minutes.

3

With pumpkin, do the following: cut the peel, chop into small pieces and boil. Then put in a blender and turn into a homogeneous mass, that is, in mashed potatoes. Add to it cinnamon, granulated sugar, cream, as well as the juice of one lemon and eggs. After each introduction of the ingredients, mix thoroughly with a mixer.

4

Remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll. Then place it in a baking dish, lined with a sheet of parchment, and spread over the entire surface, not forgetting to form the sides. If cracks form in it, just cover them.

5

Cover the dough in the form with foil, and place dry beans on it. In this form, bake the cake for 15 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees. After the “cargo” has expired, remove and cook for another 10 minutes.

6

On the finished cake, lay out part of the prunes, then the pumpkin filling. Bake the resulting mass for approximately 60 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees. Garnish pastries with dried fruit residues. The brandy pumpkin pie with prunes in cognac is ready!
