You will need

    • 150 gr. butter;
    • 5 tablespoons of sugar;
    • 2 cups of flour;
    • 1 teaspoon of baking powder;
    • 1 sachet of vanillin;
    • 500 gr. cottage cheese;
    • 3 eggs;
    • sugar for the filling to taste;
    • butter;
    • half a lemon;
    • chocolate chips.

Instruction manual

1

Put the butter in a convenient bowl, melt in a water bath, then cool slightly. Add 5 tablespoons of sugar to melted butter and mix thoroughly until sugar is completely dissolved. Add one egg and beat the mass with a mixer.

2

Mix flour with baking powder and gently pour into the dough. Mix everything thoroughly. Form a ball from the finished dough and put it in the freezer for 20 minutes.

3

Take 2 eggs. Separate the whites from the yolks. Refrigerate the squirrels for 15 minutes. Then beat the chilled proteins with a mixer until an air mass is formed.

4

Grind half a lemon with zest in a blender. Add the yolks, a bag of vanillin, sugar to taste and chopped lemon to the curd. Mix all ingredients thoroughly with a mixer. Then gently inject the whipped whites and mix the dough with a spoon.

5

Remove the dough from the freezer. Prepare a baking sheet. Lubricate it with a piece of butter. Rub 2/3 of the baking sheet. Gently lay the curd mass on top. Rub the rest of the dough over the cottage cheese.

6

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Place a baking tray with a pie in it. Bake for 40 minutes. Check the readiness of the test with a wooden stick (you can take a match or a toothpick). Poke the dough with a stick, if it turns out to be dry, then the cake can be removed from the oven.

7

Sprinkle the finished cake with chocolate chips and cut into portions. Serve the cake a little cool or cold.

Bon Appetit.

Useful advice

For the filling, choose cottage cheese of a uniform consistency, not grainy and not crumbly. If necessary, curd can be whipped in a blender.

You can choose the filling for the grated cake to your liking. It can be jam or fresh fruit, crushed in a blender.
