Pea soup with smoked meats. The main ingredient of this soup is peas. On a three-liter pot of broth you need about a glass of peas. Pour it with water so that it swells and then boils quickly. It is best to soak it overnight. In the morning, drain the water, fill with meat or vegetable broth and set to simmer over medium heat until tender.

When the peas are ready, add diced potatoes and smoked meats, as well as pork ribs to it. Cook for another 15 minutes.

While the soup is cooked, chop finely the onion and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Fry them in a pan. Add to boiling soup and cook for seven minutes. Add salt to the soup five minutes before cooking.

Pour the soup into plates and garnish with fresh herbs. You can add crackers to it. Just cut the bread into cubes and dry in the oven or microwave. Smoked pea soup is ready.

To do this, when the pea mixture is ready, let it cool slightly. Then whisk it in a blender or mixer until smooth. Add sautéed vegetables and seasoning. Pour into plates, add crackers. Top with sprinkled with grated cheese or chopped herbs.
