  • - ham - 100 g;

  • - cream - 70 ml;

We prepare the ingredients. Cut the onion into thin half rings. We clean the mushrooms and cut into thin slices. We also cut ham into small pieces. For this dish, you can use any mushrooms to your taste, except pickled. Fresh champignons or oyster mushrooms are best.

Immerse the spaghetti in boiling salted water and cook according to the instructions on the package. It is better to calculate the cooking time so that the pasta and sauce are ready at the same time.

While cooking spaghetti, prepare the sauce. Melt the butter in a pan. Dip the chopped onion into it, then the mushrooms. If you wish, you can add finely chopped clove of garlic - garlic is always used in classic recipes of Italian pasta. Fry a little, add the ham, then salt and add any seasoning to taste. Fry everything until cooked over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Then pour the cream, cover the pan with a lid and keep on low heat for 2-4 minutes.

Drain and season the pasta with a small amount of butter. We spread it on plates, put the sauce on top. You can decorate the dish with herbs, slices of vegetables or grated cheese. Serve hot immediately after cooking.
