  • - ground black pepper to taste;

Defrost hearts (if you take frozen ones) and carefully cut the open part so that the finished dish looks more aesthetically pleasing. Then rinse offal under running water and pat dry on paper kitchen towels.

In a bowl with a lid, mix sherry and a glass of Teriyaki sauce, add freshly ground black pepper to taste, mix and place the dried hearts in the marinade. Cover and shake well several times: let the sauce cover the offal well!

Refrigerate for 4 hours. Several times during this time, the container must be shaken. At the same time, skewers should be prepared: put them in cold water, otherwise they will burn in a pan.

Four hours later, remove the hearts from the marinade and string on prepared skewers. Heat peanut butter in a pan (it burns less) and put the skewers in it. Fry until tender, about 10 minutes. Then shift on paper kitchen towels to get rid of excess oil.
