To get started, take the liver and remove the film from it. If it does not remove well, put it in boiling water for a few seconds and immediately remove it or simply pour over boiling water. Now you can clean it quickly and easily. After that, cut the liver into small square pieces. To make it beautiful and easy, do not defrost it to the end. In a slightly frozen form, the liver is easier to cut into even pieces, it will not slide on the board and jump out of the hands.

Now you need to fry it. Fry the liver in a pan in a small amount of refined sunflower oil. Make a small fire and stir constantly. The liver does not need to be fried for a long time, just two or three minutes is enough. Otherwise, it will become stiff and dry. To make the liver tender, add some milk during frying.

After that, peel the onions and carrots. Cut the onions in half rings, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Fry them over low heat in a small amount of sunflower oil until slightly golden. This will take no more than ten to fifteen minutes.

Then take the pots, on the bottom of each put one bay leaf and one pea of ​​black pepper. Mix the liver with onions and carrots, salt to taste and tightly put everything in pots. Then make the sauce. To do this, mix the sour cream with ketchup in a ratio of ten to one. When the sauce is ready, immediately fill them with potted liver. Half fill the pots so that the sauce does not spill over the edges of the dishes. After that, grate a small piece of hard cheese and sprinkle it on top with a fine grater. Also do not forget about fresh greens of dill or parsley.

Then close the pots with lids and place in the oven for twenty to thirty minutes. Serve such a liver with boiled potatoes.
