Make a gentle chicken liver pate. Start by preparing offal. Cut the liver and fill with milk. Leave it in a cool place for several hours.

Take care of apples. Bake them in the oven or microwave until soft. Then peel the fruit, remove the hard core, mash it with a fork to a puree condition and put it in a food processor.

Peel the onion, chop finely. Sauté it for 5 minutes in preheated vegetable oil. Put the fried onions to the apples.

Melt the butter in a saucepan. Pour it to the rest of the ingredients in the bowl of the combine, add the wine. Pound the bay leaf into powder and pour it into the mixture. Salt and pepper. Pat the chicken liver with a paper towel, removing the remaining milk, and put it in the bowl of the combine. Break the eggs there. Grind the mass in the combine until smooth.

Pour the resulting paste into a baking dish, oiled. Cover it with foil so that the dish does not burn. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Put the paste there for 40-50 minutes. Readiness can be determined by color - the mass should become grayish.

Cool the prepared paste by transferring it to another container. It must be served cold, it is best to store it in the refrigerator in a package with a lid. However, note that even in such conditions, it is advisable to use the dish for several days.

Before serving, cut the paste into portion slices. It should be accompanied by a fresh baguette or toast from ordinary bread. Fresh cereal buns are also suitable. Also a good addition to such a dish would be leaf lettuce, gherkins and olives. For a pate with a delicate taste, various varieties of white wine, for example, sauternes, are suitable. Apple cider may also be an interesting option.
