Starch noodles - funchose - a popular food product in Asian countries. They make it from rice starch, and from soy starch, and even from sweet potato starch. The latter option is especially popular in Korea, where such noodles serve as the basis for many delicious dishes, such as this.

You will need

  • For 1 serving:

  • 90 g of starch noodles;

  • 10 peeled king prawns;

  • Half a medium carrot;

  • Half red bell pepper;

  • 1 large clove of garlic;

  • 2 tsp sesame oil;

  • 1.5 tbsp soy sauce;

  • Black pepper, chives, sesame seeds.

Boil the noodles for 4 - 5 minutes in boiling water, put it in a colander and cut it with scissors right in it. Season 3/4 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tsp sesame oil.

Cut pepper and carrots into thin strips (it is better to grate carrots on a special grater).

Heat 1 tsp in a pan sesame oil, toss vegetables there, cook for 2 - 3 minutes, add shrimp, garlic and remaining soy sauce, cook another minute. Add noodles to vegetables and shrimp and keep on fire for a couple of minutes, adding a little water or broth if necessary.

Serve immediately, sprinkled with sesame seeds and finely chopped green onions. Bon Appetit!
