You will need

  • - flour - 2 2/3 cups;

  • - milk - 1/4 cup;

  • - water - 2 tablespoons;

  • - yogurt - 1/4 cup;

  • - butter - 4 tablespoons;

  • - sugar - 1 teaspoon;

  • - baking powder for dough - 1 teaspoon;

  • - salt - 2 teaspoons;

  • - fresh yeast - 25 g.

Instruction manual

1

Combine the following ingredients in one bowl: fresh yeast, warm water, and granulated sugar and milk. Mix the future dough, and then put it in the heat for 15 minutes or in a bowl with warm water. When the mass begins to bubble and a foam appears on its surface, it means that it is ready.

2

Soften or melt the butter first, then mix it with flour, salt, yogurt and a baking powder for the dough. Mix this mass well. Then introduce it to the yeast mixture, that is, to the dough.

3

After kneading the dough, cover it with a towel and remove to heat for about 2-3 hours, no less. Thus, it will rise approximately 2-2.5 times.

4

Cut the finished dough so that you get 6 equal slices. Turn each of them into an oval layer, the thickness of which is approximately equal to 0.5 centimeters. If you want, decorate the rolled cakes, for example, with chopped greens.

5

Alternately bake the dough layers in an oven warmed up to a temperature of 225 degrees for 5-10 minutes. Grease the finished baked goods with melted butter and serve. Indian Naan cakes are ready!
