We cut the cabbage into thin strips, 2-3 cm long. If the cabbage is very hard, for 1 min. pour boiling water over it. Knead the straws with a little salt.

We clean the raw carrots and rub on a coarse grater. Peel the garlic, wash it and pass through the press or chop it very finely.

In a deep bowl we combine the potato mass, cabbage, raw carrots and garlic. Add flour, semolina, salt and seasonings to taste, mix well.

In a pan, heat the sunflower oil. Spread draniki with a tablespoon and fry over moderate heat for 3-5 minutes on each side.

We put ready-made pancakes on a paper napkin so that the excess fat is stacked, transfer to a dish, decorate with boiled grated carrots and sprigs of greens (optional).

This dish can also be cooked in the oven, heated to 200 degrees. On a baking sheet, spread the potato and cabbage mass and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Useful advice

Red cabbage is best wrinkled in medical gloves so as not to stain your hands with juice.
