Chacha is a kind of alcoholic drink that is made from grapes and other fruits and berries in the North Caucasus. The alcohol content in it sometimes reaches as much as 70 degrees. Chacha is best prepared from berries, or rather, a grape cake that remained after making wine at home. To do this, 10 liters of the remaining grape marc must be put in a barrel or a large glass bottle.

Next, add there 5 kilograms of granulated sugar, 100 grams of yeast and pour everything in advance with boiled and cooled water - 30 liters. Then - close the lid and put in a dark place for 1-2 weeks, stirring occasionally, about once every two days.

Next, you need to lay the straw on the bottom of the moonshine still so that the cake is not burnt. Pour all the liquid along with the cake into the device and overtake. But such a chachi will have a rather specific smell, which few may like.

Therefore, many distill chacha, having previously separated the liquid fraction from the cake, due to this distillation, a specific smell will not be present in this strong drink.

Next, the resulting chacha needs to be drained into a bottle and a small amount of walnut membranes added, insisted for 1-2 months. After that, once again distill through the moonshine and bottle. It will turn out to be a chacha fortress of about 46 degrees.

Do not eat chacha in large quantities and without a snack, since it is a fairly strong drink, you can get poisoning the body. But in small quantities, chacha even has useful properties: it reduces the risk of formation of stones in the kidneys and biliary tract; reduces the risk of heart disease; due to its high content of antioxidants it protects against cancer; lowers cholesterol; stimulates digestion.

Experienced winemakers determine the quality of chachi in one original way: a small amount of chachi is poured into the cup, the winemaker dips his finger there, and then they set it on fire. If the chacha is completely burnt out and does not burn the hand, then the quality of this drink is the highest.
