There are many salad recipes that do not require much time to prepare and consist of simple products. For example, an appetizer with chicken and mushrooms. This dish is suitable for both everyday and festive table.

You will need

    • chicken breast 1 pc.;
    • fresh champignons 200-300 g;
    • onions 1 pc.;
    • eggs 4 pcs.;
    • carrots 2 pcs.;
    • vegetable oil;
    • mayonnaise;
    • olives;
    • greens;
    • salt.

Prepare the products. Wash the greens and dry them thoroughly, getting rid of excess moisture. Peel the onions. Boil eggs, washed carrots, and chicken breast until cooked. Rinse the mushrooms thoroughly in cold water (be careful, often the dirt remains under the hat).

Cool the chicken breast, remove the skin and separate the meat from the bones. Finely chop the resulting fillet with a sharp knife.

Cut onions, peel and grate the carrots on a fine grater. Divide the boiled eggs into squirrels and yolks. Rub them individually on a fine grater.

Take water-dried mushrooms and chop, but not too finely. For example, cut the mushroom in half and cut each part into thin strips.

Preheat the pan, add a little vegetable oil suitable for frying. When the oil is hot, put the chopped onion in it and fry until golden brown. Add champignons to the onion, salt to taste and fry until tender. Try to mix onions and mushrooms more often. Put the mixture on a plate covered with a paper towel, allow to cool and drain the excess oil.

Take a wide plate (preferably with a small indentation). Start collecting lettuce. The first layer will be chicken. Lay it out and brush with a thin layer of mayonnaise, which should be the same thickness throughout the plate. The next layer is mushrooms and onions, then carrots and mayonnaise. Lightly level and tamp the salad, giving it a rounded shape.

Chop greens and sprinkle carrots on it. Put the squirrels on top and the final layer - the yolks. The salad will be decorated with olives. Open the jar, drain the liquid and cut each olive in half. Put them on top of the dish in random order.

You can add or remove layers of salad to suit your tastes.

Useful advice

Prepare the salad in advance and let it brew for one and a half to two hours. During this time, the products included in its composition are saturated with each other's juices, from which the salad will become even tastier.
