The recipe for making oatmeal cookies is very simple, it does not take much time, and the cookies turn out to be much tastier than what we buy every day in the store.

    • flour - 250 g;
    • sugar - 250 g;
    • oat flakes - 250 g;
    • butter - 200 g;
    • eggs - 2 pcs;
    • honey - 1 tbsp;
    • walnuts - 1 tbsp;
    • raisins - 0.5 tbsp;
    • baking powder.

To begin, carefully sift the flour through a sieve one or more times. After that, put the sifted flour in a special bowl in which you will prepare your dough. Add sugar, oatmeal to flour and mix well. For baking, you need to choose a coarser version of the cereal. Hercules flakes are best suited here, they can be purchased at any grocery store. In advance, oatmeal can be passed through a meat grinder with sugar or grind in a coffee grinder. But this is not necessary at all, as some people prefer cookies made from whole cereal.

In the mixture, put softened butter and rub it with your hands until crumbs form. It is best that the oil is slightly melted, but not completely liquid. To do this, you just need to get it out of the refrigerator in advance.

Now add eggs, honey, nuts and raisins to them. Mix everything thoroughly again. At the end, stirring, pour the baking powder. As a result, you should have a viscous dough. After this, it is necessary to put it in the refrigerator for ten to fifteen minutes, so that it can better soak.

After the time has passed, remove the dough from the refrigerator. Gently spread it with a teaspoon on a greased baking sheet with any grease or sunflower oil. Before sending your cookies to the oven, let it stand for a bit at room temperature. It does not take much time, ten to fifteen minutes will be quite enough. Bake cookies in the oven at a temperature of one hundred eighty degrees Celsius twenty to twenty-five minutes to a slightly brown color.

In order not to dry the cookies, you can turn off the oven two to three minutes earlier. Then your cookies will turn out to be soft and friable.
