An ordinary pea soup can be turned into an original dish with an unusual taste. To do this, you need to add only one ingredient - smoked pink salmon. Soup can be made from fresh, canned or dried peas.

If you use dried peas, then pre-fill it for 30-40 minutes with water. Cut the onions into small cubes, grate the carrots and fry in vegetable oil. Cut pink salmon into small pieces.

Pour 2 liters of water into the pan and add peas. Add salt and black pepper to taste. Cook the peas until cooked. Once it becomes soft, add pink salmon, roast and potatoes, sliced ​​or diced, to the contents of the pan.

Simmer the mixture for another 10-15 minutes. To give the dish a spicy taste, chopped chili peppers can be added. Before serving, season the pea soup with sour cream, garnish with fresh herbs or thin slices of lemon.
