Choosing fruits and chocolate

For glazing, fruits and berries with a dense texture that do not have seeds are most often chosen. Large fruits are cut into beautiful slices. The secret is that the fruits or their pieces are not too small. It is desirable that the fruits have a bright sweet or sour taste. Fresh fruits are not so tasty.

Usually on the buffet tables are strawberries, slices of oranges, apples and pears, segments of pineapples, slices of bananas. Sometimes chocolate covers more unusual fruits: cherries, carambola, grapes, gooseberries. If the berry has branches or sepals, they can be left, the dessert will look even more beautiful.

Milk chocolate strawberries

You will need:

- large strawberries with sepals;

- 100 g of milk chocolate without additives;

- icing sugar for sprinkling.

Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly. Break the chocolate into pieces and put them in a bowl and place it in a saucepan with boiling water. While stirring, melt the chocolate until completely homogeneous. Alternately dip the berries in it, holding the sepals. Chocolate should cover half of each strawberry. Lay the berries on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Let the icing harden, transfer the strawberries to a dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Banana skewers

Such a dessert can be served on a children's holiday. Shish kebabs look very beautiful, you can eat them without getting your hands dirty.

You will need:

- 6 small bananas;

- 3 tbsp. tablespoons ground hazelnuts;

- 3 tbsp. spoons of biscuit crumbs;

- 200 g of dark chocolate without additives.

Put the hazelnuts and biscuits into a blender and turn into crumbs. Peel and put bananas on skewers. Finely chop the chocolate and melt it in a water bath or microwave. Gently dip the fruit into chocolate or pour it from a spoon. Roll the bananas in the nut biscuit and set aside to set. When the frosting has hardened, serve bananas with vanilla ice cream balls.
