Baked feta cheese with a vegetable side dish and olives will be a great cold appetizer. Cooking this spicy dish will not take much time. All ingredients are available. The indicated amount of food is enough for 4 servings.

  • - feta cheese - 600 g;

  • - pitted olives - 10 pcs.;

  • - tomatoes - 2 pcs.;

  • - red onion - 1 head;

  • - garlic - 2 cloves;

  • - oregano crushed (dry) - 1 tsp;

  • - lemon - 1 pc.;

  • - olive oil - 2 tbsp. l.;

  • - ground red pepper - a pinch;

  • - salt - a pinch;

  • - parsley - for decoration.

Gently cut the feta cheese into slices 2 cm thick, about 5 cm long. Lay the cheese slices on a wire rack and bake in the oven at 220 degrees until golden (7-10 minutes).

Remove the stem from the tomato and cut into rings about 1 cm thick. Place the tomato rings on the feta cheese and bake for about 5 minutes. Get the feta cheese, put on a dish and cool.

Cooking side dish. Dry olives and olives, cut into thin rings. At the remaining tomato, remove the stem and cut into small cubes. Cut the onion into thin rings. Chop the garlic. Combine all the ingredients (except onions), season with olive oil, lemon juice (2 tbsp. L.). salt, pepper, add oregano. Mix gently.

Pour onion rings with lemon juice and leave for 10 minutes.

Put a few slices of baked feta cheese with tomato on a serving plate. Lay out 1-2 tbsp. l side dish. Garnish with parsley sprigs, onion rings and lemon slices. The dish is ready! Bon Appetit!
