Rinse the cabbage well, dry it slightly, chop as thin as possible. Boil water in a saucepan, salt, lower the chopped cabbage. Cook until cooked. Put the prepared cabbage in a colander, let the excess liquid merge well, let it cool.

Rinse the potatoes, peel them, cut them into even pieces, boil in salted water. Free the finished potatoes from water, add 20 grams of butter, and cook the puree.

Combine boiled cabbage and mashed potatoes, mix well. If desired, add black pepper.

Lubricate the casserole dish with a small amount of butter. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Put the vegetable mass on top. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top again. Melt the remaining oil or cut into thin slices, spread on top of crackers in a mold.

Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the dish for 30 minutes, until a beautiful crust is obtained. Cool the finished casserole, divide into portions, serve to the table. If desired, you can sprinkle with herbs and pour sour cream.
