  • - 1/2 tsp Sahara;

  • - 1 bay leaf;

  • - 1 clove of garlic;

  • - thyme, basil, salt, pepper;

  • - parsley.

To get started, prepare the vegetables. Wash them thoroughly under running water and pat dry with a towel. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes and peel them. Then cut into large cubes with a sharp knife. From the bell pepper, remove the middle and all the seeds. Cut it into strips.

In a frying pan with high sides, heat the oil and pass the chopped onion on it. Transfer the bell peppers to the pan. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook vegetables for at least 4 minutes, remembering to stir.

Transfer the prepared vegetables from the pan to a separate bowl.

Eggplant, cut into small pieces, also fry in a pan. As soon as the pieces turn brown, they are ready. Before frying, do not forget to salt and pepper them. Transfer eggplant to a bowl of previously fried vegetables.

Next, fry finely chopped carrots. Zucchini cut into circles and fry in a pan. Once the zucchini has turned golden color - add the previously prepared vegetables and pasta.

Shuffle the entire contents of the pan and transfer the tomatoes, bay leaves and spices. Add sugar and mix the dish again. Cook the ratatouille for at least 10 minutes, covering the dishes with a lid.

Before cooking, transfer chopped parsley and garlic to the dish. But the bay leaf, thyme and basil need to be removed. Mix ratatouille again and turn off the stove. The dish is ready, you can call everyone to the table!
