  • - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • - 10 sheets of filo dough

  • - 100 g of melted butter

  • - 100 g grated almonds

Combine the sliced ​​apples, cherries and half the icing sugar in one bowl, and the ricotta, lemon zest, cinnamon and the second half of the icing sugar in another bowl.

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Lubricate the pan with a little butter. Grease each sheet of filo dough with melted butter. Sprinkle with grated almonds.

Put the apple-cherry filling on the dough, leaving 6 cm to the edge of the dough on each side. Put ricotta cheese mixed with lemon zest, cinnamon and icing sugar on the filling.

Roll the filling into the dough and put it on the baking sheet with the seam down. Lubricate the top of the dough with the remaining butter.

Bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes until golden brown and crisp. When the strudel is ready, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Instead of filo dough, you can use any other puff pastry.
