The benefits of stewed cabbage are hard to overestimate. A large amount of vitamin C strengthens the immune system, B2 improves the condition of the skin, PP protects blood vessels, fiber normalizes the intestines. In combination with potatoes creates a nutritious dish for a lean table.

You will need
- 4 potatoes
- 1 carrot
- 1 small onion
- half a head of cabbage
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 clove of garlic
- a pinch of red hot pepper
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- dill

Peel and rinse vegetables. Remove the top leaves from the cabbage and finely chop.

Cut the potatoes into thin slices, grate the carrots and garlic on a coarse grater, finely chop the onion.

Pour half of the prepared vegetable oil into a hot pan. Add cabbage. With constant stirring, fry for 10 minutes over medium heat.

Spassion the onions and carrots in a separate pan with the addition of the remaining oil.

Reduce the heat in a pan with cabbage, add potatoes. Simmer for 20 minutes under a closed lid.

Add passivated carrots and onions to the cabbage and potatoes, as well as grated garlic. Salt and pepper the vegetables.

Bring the dish to readiness within 10 minutes. Serve with chopped dill.
note
Potatoes should be cut thinly so that it is cooked simultaneously with cabbage.
Useful advice
If you use young cabbage and potatoes, the cooking time is halved.
