Gozleme - Turkish tortilla that looks like a cheburek. The main advantages of this dish include satiety and a fairly long shelf life. Cakes remain fresh and mouth-watering even during hot weather, it is not necessary to store them in the refrigerator. Gesleme was originally invented for Turkish travelers.

Knead the elastic and elastic dough from flour, salt and water. Lightly moisten the hands and the flour mixture with vegetable oil. Divide the dough into 6 parts, each of which roll out a thin layer.

Fry minced meat with vegetable oil, add chopped garlic and ketchup. Stir the mixture thoroughly. If you use meat instead of minced meat, then it must be chopped and also fried with garlic and ketchup. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Grind fresh herbs.

Put a layer of minced meat, cheese and greens on the rolled dough. Fold the blanks in half and pinch the edges. Fry each cake in vegetable oil until crusted. It is recommended to fry gozleme no more than 3 minutes.

Of these Turkish cakes, you can make a festive treat by serving them on the table with a side dish of fresh vegetables. Gozleme can be stored at room temperature for a day. During this time, cakes do not lose their taste, remain fragrant and tasty.

The dough for gesleme must be rolled out very thinly - almost to the light. During frying, each side of the cake is additionally greased with butter.
