It is also very important to properly prepare the shrimp. It is best to use fresh or chilled product for cooking. Frozen shrimp should be thawed only at room temperature, and even better - on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator.

Grilled tiger prawns in lemon and basil marinade
To prepare 1 kg of tiger shrimp according to this recipe you will need:
- 4 lemons;
- a pinch of basil;
- 2-3 tbsp. tablespoons of salt;
- 4 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil.
Defrost shrimp at room temperature, wash thoroughly under running water and dry a little on a napkin so that excess moisture does not spoil the marinade. Then cut the carapace on their back and remove the black intestine. Fold the prepared shrimp in a deep bowl, sprinkle them with salt and dried basil, pour over lemon juice and olive oil. Mix well and leave for a couple of hours at room temperature, stirring occasionally. After the set time, grill tiger prawns for 10 minutes.
