  • 0.5 kg of minced meat (pork);

  • 1 onion and medium-sized carrot;

  • rice groats - 100 g;

  • 1 egg

  • 3 tbsp sour cream;

  • 3.5 cups of water;

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste (you can take the sauce);

  • sunflower oil;

  • spices, black pepper and salt.

Cooking:

  1. First of all, it is necessary to prepare rice groats. It is better to use round rice. Rinse it very well until the water becomes clear. Then pour the rice into a saucepan and pour freshly boiled water. Approximate proportion 1: 2. Close the pan with a lid and place it on the stove.

  2. When the liquid boils, the fire must be reduced to a minimum. The cereal is cooked until cooked for about 10 minutes, then removed from the stove. Let the croup infuse.

  3. After that, you need to peel the vegetables and wash them thoroughly. Carrots should be chopped with a grater, and chopped onions into very small cubes.

  4. Heat a frying pan in which oil should first be poured and sprinkle vegetables into it. It is necessary to fry them on a small fire so that the carrots with onions are not fried, but only become soft.

  5. Then you can proceed to the direct preparation of minced meat. To do this, add fried vegetables, rice, minced meat, and an egg to one container. All must be pepper, salt and pour, if desired, your favorite spices. The resulting mass should be very well mixed.

  6. Meatballs must be formed from minced meat. So that the stuffing is not sticky to your hands, they should be moistened with plain water.

  7. Ready meatballs are placed in a pan, where carrots with onions were prepared. If desired, they can be slightly fried on several sides, but you can do without it.

  8. In a separate container, mix sour cream, tomato paste and a small amount of water. Stir everything well and pour into the pan, while the liquid must cover the meatballs. Close the container with a lid and put on fire.

  9. After the sauce begins to boil, reduce the heat. After 20 minutes, you need to open the pan so that the sauce evaporates more than half. By the way, you can pepper and salt if you wish. Very tender and incredibly juicy meatballs are ready.
