Take a fresh pike no more than two kilograms in weight. Rinse the fish well in warm water, clean with a sharp knife from the scales. Make an incision in the lower abdomen and gut it, wash it well again. Make oblique cuts from the sides of the ridge, where there are large bones, so they will become very soft during baking. Make some large cuts across the fish so that it curls better. Rub the fish with salt and black pepper. Fold the fish in a spiral and place in a large frying pan or baking dish.

Wash the potatoes well, peel them and cut them into large pieces, add a little salt and put them in the shape of a fish. Transfer the butter to a microwave oven and melt at maximum temperature. Lubricate fish and potatoes with hot oil. Preheat the oven and put in a form with fish and potatoes for twenty minutes.

Wash onions in cold water, peel and chop finely. In a pan, fry the onions in vegetable oil. Add salt, pepper, paprika and cream to the pan, mix. Take out the mold and fill with the resulting mixture, bake for another forty minutes.
