How to surprise your guests on any occasion? It is enough to elegantly arrange the table. This is done very easily. For example, a regular salad can be issued in the form of some kind of animal. It’s very simple in this regard to make a turtle salad.
It contains mayonnaise. But if you replace it with sour cream, then the dish is perfect for a children's table.

Boil the chicken fillet in salted water, cool and chop finely.

Chop the onion into small cubes, add boiling water and let stand for 10 minutes. Boiling water will remove unpleasant bitterness, but leave a crunch.

Chop the walnut kernels thoroughly and leave only a few kernels whole.

Spread the salad in layers on a flat dish, forming an oval: proteins, filet, onions, apple, cheese, yolks. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts on top.

The salad needs to be decorated to make it look like a turtle. A spoonful of grated cheese and a little mayonnaise mix and roll a small ball, which will be the head of the turtle. Black peas are suitable as eyes. The remaining whole walnut kernels will serve as paws.
